The tournament will be held May 23-26th and holds a $300 entry fee. One more thing, this is a World Series Qualifier for the Winning and Runner-up teams.

New Jersey D NIT

Teams from New York, Maryland and New Jersey converged on Mercer County Park in Princeton Junction, NJ to compete for two ISA World Series berths in the 2008 ISA /Miken D NIT. This was the northeast’s only D NIT, and some of the region’s best D teams were in attendance. This was the first 2008 tournament for Winnie Ranegans, of Merrick, NY, who went undefeated winning the paid World Series berth, and three Miken NRG600 Maxloads. Ranegans came out hitting from the very 1st inning, and never stopped, resulting in wins over Corner to Corner, The Dugout and American Vending/Cullen Construction, while averaging
21 runs per game. Corner to Corner would get an opportunity to avenge their only loss of the tournament by defeating in state rival American Vending/Cullen Construction 14-9 in the loser bracket final, and move on to the championship game hoping to take two and the hardware. Ranegans bats were to much to overcome and they defeated Corner to Corner 24-13.
Ranegans hitting assault was lead by Pat Tighe (.833) Jimmy Tighe (.813) and Tournament MVP, Pitcher, Phil McGovern (.800). Top 4 finishes Winnie
Ranegans 2. Corner to Corner 3. American Vending Cullen Construction 4. The Dugout
